It's not like the XX needed any more attention on any sort of blog. However, the bass lines in these melodies are so penetrating I must share. It's like the XX somehow managed to take all of the good parts out of Stars and turn it into a darker, heavier, gigantic album. The attention paid to the quality of both the drum and bass lines is incredible and the result is a trance inducing tune that immediately invades and take over. On top of all that, the band's vocals are incredible, but chances are, you don't need me to tell you that.
